From farm to plate

We all have to accept some responsibility for global warming and therefore the carbon footprint of the food we eat is important to minimise. Food air miles, soil quality, water management, pesticides, packaging and forest clearance are all contributing factors. It is our mission as a company to access sustainable, local and traceable produce, whilst preparing food as good as our mums used to do!!

We work closely with carefully selected suppliers, who are dedicated to their work, to ensure we are always using, fresh, seasonal, responsibly sourced ingredients and packaging that is either compostable to BS standards or 100% recyclable.

Animal welfare is hugely important to us. We ensure that the meat we use in our cooking has been reared to the highest standards by local farmers in the Chew Valley. There are no air-miles our ingredients!!
